Consultation

What happens during the consultation:

The doctor does a breast examination, by carefully feeling the breasts and the area around them. This is followed by one or more of the following tests:

Mammogram
Ultrasound scan
Core biopsy

The order in which these tests are done varies from patient to patient. Not all patients need all the tests.

Coming prepared for the consultation:

Can bring a friend or a family member for support. Can come alone too.
Bring all the previous and latest medical history including films and reports if available.

We value your time. Please bear with us if your appointment time gets extended a bit. This is because the consultation time of the patients depend on their symptoms and urgency of action to be taken.
