Training

This two-week training offers young surgeons and radiologists , the opportunity to gain insight into breast imaging and surgery at a leading Indian centre of excellence.

The program gives an opportunity to

Assist with surgical procedures including oncoplastic procedures, sentinel lymph node biopsies.
Observe in the one stop diagnostic facility where clinical examination, mammography, breast ultrasound and ultrasound guided interventions are performed.
Hands on sessions with phantoms to do ultrasound guided interventions.
Case studies of breast cancer.
Training fee: INR 30,000/-. The training fee will be a contribution to Sharana Breast Cancer Relief and Research Foundation, a charitable and non profit organisation. This will be utilized for breast cancer research projects.
